Mainstream Schools

Schools whose pupils are educated off site for some or all of their provision have a duty to ensure that placements are safe and effective in promoting pupils’ progress.

Key problems for school leaders:

  • How do I ensure that pupils educated off site are safe?
  • How do I know that pupils educated off site are making progress?
  • How do I evidence the ways we identify, assess and meet the needs of all pupils, including those in AP?
  • How can I be absolutely sure that providers are compliant, without increasing workload to my team?

Monitor pupils in alternative provision

LearnTrek for mainstream schools brings together data on progress for pupils in AP, home education, hospital schools and other provision in one place. With powerful analytics and whole-school, placement-level and pupil-level dashboards, your team can monitor pupils in alternative provision with live data from pupil placements.

What training do you offer for setup?

You will do 2 x 90 minute setup sessions, during which time we will train your senior leadership team and/or a nominated senior person/ stakeholder.

After this, we will deliver online training for those within your school who will be using the system.  If you are working with multiple alternative provisions, we encourage you to invite representatives from these settings to attend the training.

We also offer a full library of support videos to help staff understand how to use the system in their own time.
